Succubus are ancient female demons who, according to legend, visit men at night and are responsible for their erotic fantasies and dreams.
Meridiana, the most famous succubus in history, frequented Pope Sylvester II, offering him knowledge and pleasures. Eventually, falling in love with him, she renounced her immortality to share his life and death. Legend claims that they share a burial place in the Basilica di San Giovanni in Latterano, in Rome.
Succubus is an elixir created to alleviate the nocturnal temptations that every man, religious or not, faces in his dreams.
